Our Legacy line of handcrafted furniture is 100% solid wood built by master craftsmen. No press-boards ply woods or veneers are used in its construction. The first step in building fine furniture starts at the wood pile. Often hours are spent with a skillful eye hand picking boards and matching grains. This is important because every tree is as individual as every person therefore grain patterns vary from board to board. Only the finest raw materials are selected and boards with slightest defect are discarded. Boards are then sent to the woodworking shop where they are surfaced and milled. They then journey to a variety of woodworking machines where they are cut and shaped into parts. These parts are then sent to the craftsmen's benches for final hand cutting, fitting and assembly. Our Legacy line of furniture features a hand rub linseed oil finish followed by several coats of paste wax. This provides a water resistant finish that will not scratch or chip and will only improve with age. Durable and elegant, this furniture can be past down from generation to generation becoming a family heirloom.
